Overall a decent app that thinks about its s' most common usage patterns. Two things that keep me from giving five stars: 1) the hand wave unlock reminder pops up way too frequently. I don't want to have to worry about extra battery usage. 2) the app re whether you last used the favorites or the All Doors tab. But I'd like to argue that the whole point of Favorites is that this is the easy screen with the doors you use most often. So Favorites should be the default, not "last used".

I get background service is limited, there seems to be commentary in app dev forums that changing the service to foreground instead of background would work as intended. Is this something that you could do for Android app? Can the service also run on the galaxy watch app - the app is there but not the service? (PSA if you have a device with routines, I have set up geo-fence routine to open app when I get close to work, this improves handwave working). updated rating

so inconsistent. never works to open doors with the wave, have to hold the phone right up to the reader, and then 30% of the time that doesn't even work, so you have to open the app to select a door to open. I can't recommend this app. if I wasn't forced to use it at work I would not use it at all

Hand wave unlock still doesn't work on Android 15 (on a Pixel 9 Pro XL). The UI says "battery use set to restricted"... But in settings, background battery usage is enabled and the app has all the permissions.

Newest update does not allow location always on on phone or watch, only on while using app, before the update, it was so easy to use this app with my phone and watch, now I have to open the app on both watch or phone to use, please allow this option to return for both

I haven't had a need to use this app yet - it might work well! But I often have a notification from it telling me hand wave unlocks are available, and it's a sticky notification I can't remove. Boo

app works well but all our gates that are listed you cant see if the gate is for inbound or outbound gate, also i have tried the hand wave and does not work for me. i have turn on the hand wave in the app aslo. overall good app

Clear and understandable UI. Works *fast*. I slide on the app, and the door lock unlocks immediately, i am using internet locks, not direct BT or direct wifi (afaict). The response time is impressive, as it feels like there is no lag. Only con for me: Doesn't exit cleanly, at least when i use the android-back button it goes from screen but stays active, that might be android anyway. 1yr later. Still 5*
