Very buggy and slow. The experience and convenience is very lacking, especially when compared to the competition. The latency on the requests to the vehicle is pretty outrageous, and can take a few minutes. And really the only setting that can be changed via the app is the climate temp and on/off. You cannot lock/unlock vehicle remotely which is a big shortcoming IMO.

Most useless app for a car. I have a fully loaded Atlas, yet all I can do with this app is very basic. I cannot see oil level, tire pressure. Location is not updated properly. I had set geofencing and speed alert for my car while it was at the dealer, I got notification that my car was no longer at the dealer and exceeding the speed limits, but location does not update to tell me where. it was still 2 hours old. Other than reminding me my doors are unlocked, this is pointless.

It's okay if you want you key fob on your phone. It sometime won't activate the starter long enough to start the car. I would like to see more functionality. A/C control, open and close windows and sunroof would be more beneficial. Since the last update, the app won't lock or unlock my doors and has trouble connecting Bluetooth. COME ON VW FIX THIS APP!

Sub par at best. Besides the app intermittently working showing false information on the car like battery charge level and whether the AC is on. Every single update that the car has had has caus more problems than it solved. My car had 90,000 mi the old update and no issues. I ended up getting the new update to fix the recall issues and I have had nothing but problem since. Specifically the most annoying one is the battery compartment not disengaging after it's charged. It stays locked.

It's probably not entirely the app's fault, but it's certainly not a great experience. Things like the start charging button failing, and climate control being slow or failing, likely has some blame for the software for the car. However, stuff like sending a notification indicating "your car is open", and then taking me to a front page of the app showing the door is locked, that makes me ignore those notifications. Boy who cried wolf, you know?

It was working fine until the update. Now, according to the app I'm still in PA and it hasn't recorded any travel I've done since shortly after 10:00 am on Sunday. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no help at all. It was a nice little app, very useful. But now, it's just taking up space on my phone. In short, the app now sucks. Badly.

Verizon. Stopped working again! I've had this app for almost a year, and it consistently stops working. It won't update location or work for weeks.... then it randomly starts working again. Apparently, im still parked where I was 8 days ago. When it works, I love it. But unfortunately, it's down more than it works.

This app never keeps my info. It is a safety hazzard, because it is the only app you can use to connect to the car. I was considering buying another ID.4 but if they don't fix this then I won't. I happened again. First it lost my bio so I had to do that again. And then when I my car is gone. This app makes the ID.4 experience worse. But when I open the door it still sends me an alert. This is truly frustrating.
