Constantly logs me out, takes forever to update chat streams, cancels s constantly, and I can't easily reach my timesheets compared to how easy it is on a computer. As a side note: the website on the computer takes forever to load (minutes) and the time tracker app crashes my computer constantly now, and it didn't use to do that before the last update.

Can't hide or archive messages. Annoying navigation and menus. Constantly logs you out. Notifications aren't reliable. Fees are extremely high. Not enough "connects", forcing you to pay them for the luxury of connecting with customers you could talk to yourself. Did I mention they changed it so that you have to "bid" and fight amongst your fellow freelancers, Vs everyone having a fair chance at applying like they used to do it? This "bidding" makes you purchase more connects. Not happy. UpFees.

I've had mixed feelings about my experience with Upwork. It has been great for finding freelance gigs and the app itself is easy enough to use. However, I feel like they need to be more transparent about their payment processes. I've gone from waiting two weeks to get my first paycheck. Now today, when I am supposed to get paid. I learn about a ten day security hold. Meaning you will actually have to wait 3+ weeks to get paid. Read up on all their payment processes before you take a job!!

Application works well, has simple, clear UI, easy to understad, therefore easy to use. I only have two complaints: The notifications tend to come a bit late and speed is pretty low. By which I mean ing files ed directly on Upwork. But, it is really good App, so I rate it highly and would recommend to use.

I absolutely LOVE and it's concept, it makes sure to only allow legit jobs and clients and will notify you if you come across one that's spam. There's only one thing so far that I wish would make an improvement on, and that's after I submit a proposal on my android phone, there's no "home" button. You have to go back, and when you do that it goes back to the proposal submission screen, you have to click back 3-4 times to get back to the job list & it makes me unsure my proposal was submitted.

Some real optimization needs to be carried out on this mobile app. This app can't spend 3 minutes in the background without force closing. I've excluded it from the clutches of power saving, disabled all power optimization over the app, but I still can't get it to stay open in the background. Games like CoD Mobile and Genshin stay awake in the background for days without closing. What is wrong with your app?

Dark pattern ads. It seems they've introduced Fullscreen ads for their apps, which is displayed once a day (?). There's no option to disallow it, and the worse thing about it is, there's a small dot at the top left of the close button, so when you can't close it easily. Otherwise the app is fine in most cases. I'll update my review if the ad is stopped or there's an option to stop the ad. This is really unexpected from Upwork, doing something so cheap.

I would've gave this app a 5 start review, but after an email I received recently, I'm done using it COMPLETELY. I thoroughly enjoyed the app for the meanwhile, despite a few ailments (the slow loading speed of the messages and filtered pages, the small variation of jobs pertaining to a specific art category, and the app closing during proposals). But what changed my mind is when they decided to start charging freelancers money for finding jobs to earn, guess what, money. So no thanks, I'm out.
