Update 3/22/2022: Same blank screen. Different update. Update 9/4/2021: The blank screen is back. It worked properly a few days after a OS update from Verizon Update: New phone, Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, and the app worked well for a few weeks. Today when clicking on a devotion all I see is a blank screen. This app is no longer working on my Galaxy S5. I've sent the developer an email and submitted a debug dump to them so hopefully it will be addressed in a forthcoming update.

This is a great resource, but recent updates have made it less great for me. I prefer to read devotions, and now that requires several steps more than it did not long ago. I do appreciate the Bible reading plan that is connected, but notice that the Old Testament text doesn't preserve the LORD (for Hebrew Yahweh) in any of the translations.

I recommend this for everyone needing the best out of a devotional app. Each sermon is given by a real person of God instead of computer generated Bible verses. Also: it's Lutheran!

Love having this app for years now. Handy way to access the daily devotions from the website. It did break after a recent update, but uninstalling and reinstalling fixed it, just FYI.
