in my opinion it has a bit too many micro-transactions, but otherwise it's the same old game play and quite a bit of fun. I do however have to it that I do enjoy the fact that you're able to select different Towers rather than only having the same Four Towers and upgrading them into different types of that same Tower it makes the game feel more strategic

Edit: game is okay. Entire campaign should have been included in game price. Just set the price higher next time instead of hiding 5 levels behind a paywall. Doesn't make sense. Edit2: in response to developer, I still believe it makes more sense to charge the appropriate fee for all levels up front, even if it's a higher fee. I'm not talking about special characters or anything, it would have just been nice if all levels were included.

OK, but not as good as previous games. Game feels restrictive and repetitive. Too many contents are locked behind expensive paywall in a paid game, which just made me lose interest in future titles (Alliance). Almost all maps have multiple defense points which is fine on PC but not ideal for phones due to small screens. Towers have very little range. Build spots are in awkward places. You're limited to only 5 pre-selected tower types per map.

Gameplay is well made but there is a shameful amount of microtransactions. Some heros or towers are like $6 a piece, as much as the entire base game. You are only given access to a fraction of towers and heros without paying more. You're lucky I paid anything to begin with with all the free options out there. Shame on you. Update to your response: I did beat it. It's not hard, just more boring with only a few characters. Def won't replay.

Was a bit skeptical about Vengeance, because of the reviews. The campaign was very fun, & had a good amount of bonus levels at the end. The new tower system is cool. Low rating is because there are no Endless Levels in the game currently. Akin to Origins, 2 map variants at least is ideal, (more certainly welcome). Once this is added, will gladly update the rating. Won't touch much on so many extra towers locked behind $. Sad & gross structure unfortunately. Potential /fun gutted there.

Good game. Liked it more when you didn't have to buy towers/heroes in order to just get by. Already bought the game. Now we have to pay to play again?! Turned into another money grab game. Especially with the new Pirate campaign. Re:Response- So you can't "maintain" the game w/o in-game purchases? If money is such a problem, just charge a little more for the entire game, including all heroes and towers, rather than nickel-and-dime us just to "maintain" the game. Stop insulting our intelligence.

Kingdom Rush is one of my favorite series of games, but every new release seems more like freemium game than the last one. That would be okay, except for the fact you have to pay for the game!! In this addition, most heroes are available for $ only. You even have to pay extra real $ to buy defense towers. The game is still fun, but that fun is offset by constant reminder of units you can't have without paying a ridiculous amount of money in total.

I've been a fan since the first game and I've been loyal to the series, buying every single one of them. Never minded paying for a well made game and ing their developers by buying a hero. Nonetheless the micro transactions for some of the towers and majority of heroes take away that feeling that makes kingdom Rush great. It almost feels like i bought an unfinished game that if i would like to enjoy to its fullest i have to pay again. It's just not the same experience.
