The GeoBallistics mobile app is powered by the BallisticsARC (Ballistics, Atmospherics, and Range Card) solver, and combines the functionality of a ballistics calculator, an atmospheric device, and a GPS rangefinder into one application.
The BallisticsARC solver is an advanced 3 DOF solver with provisions for MV vs Temp, Coriolis, spin drift, crosswind jump, moving targets, multiple targets with unique azimuths and angles and much more.
GeoBallistics includes 4 modes: HUD Mode, Chart Mode, Map Mode, and Comp Mode. All modes are accessible with 1 custom rifle. In order to add additional rifles and save/export range cards, use Kestrel devices, or backup data online, you must the PRO version for a one-time fee.
HUD Mode puts everything you need on one screen for a single target. This is also where the moving target feature and max ordinate display is located.
Chart Mode is a traditional calculator that allows for a complete solution. Solutions include considerations for gyroscopic drift, Coriolis effect, wind influence, shot angle, atmospheric conditions, and more. Chart Mode also allows FREE integration of the WeatherFlow products.
Map Mode allows s to range targets by dropping pins on satellite imagery of a shooting location. Range and solution are displayed by tapping on the target pins. Map Mode also introduces external ballistic data overlays on satellite imagery. These overlays display a bullet's performance along its path according to parameters specified for each rifle profile.
Comp Mode allows the to enter a course of fire with multiple targets with unique variables such as shot angle and shot azimuth. Now features the Holdover Data Zero setting (HDZ) calculator. This is a first-in-class feature that allows you to easily set an optimal zero for holdover stages.

Hi everybuddies! I almost never post a review on an App, and guess it is the first. The developers of GeoBallistics deserve a tribute. I've contrasted the stats to the web-based legendary JBM solution together with endless sessions afield and everything marries flawlessly up to supersonic range. The UI is clutter-free and very intuitive. The Map mode is a double-check tool to Rangefinder stats. Additionally, as a bonus it gives me quick online Altitude which my RF lacks. I feed pressure, temp and angle from RF. My RF native solution is only accurate up to 450 m. From there on, I use BallisticsARC & JBM. I wish there was charts in "click" since I'm so much used to dialing as clicks. Overall, this is the cheaper than dirt masterpiece for LR hunters and shooters. Thank You So Much.

able but not very good. small cartridge/load database, non existent reticle and target database, and very limited data sets. pretty disappointed in this app. Doesn't come anywhere close to being as good as Strelok Pro. Edit: Hey Dev, prioritize giving us a reticle library, starting with all the reticles Vortex offers, and a target library starting with common North American big game and varmints. Then this app will be an easy 4 stars.

accurate and friendly. offers everything I was looking for on a ballistics app. online airport function is awesome. ability to set offset windage and elevation so I can use different ammo in the same rifle is awesome. highly recommend.

Not the most friendly app at first. Not having Customer Service available on weekends certainly doesn't help. Having to pay an additional one time fee of $14.99 to use the app after purchasing a $2k Optic for a Pro Subscription is absurb why isn't the App Fee included with the price of the Optic? In my opinion the purchase of the Optic should come with a lifetime Pro Subscription to use the Optic. Com Calibration is also cumbersome. I still haven't been able to get it to work.

I've been using this app for over a year now, and I'm extremely well pleased with it. This app allows you to become a much more informed distant shooter. I was turned onto the system in a long distance shooting class. I was amazed at how many things I could do on this app. Shooting distances over a thousand yards because I can put my data in this app and get the calculations needed to make adjustments on the scope for the shot. First gun on it is free nothing to lose.

6 stars! Fantastic software! I have used this for ballistic solutions out to 0.82 miles with dead on accuracy meaning first round hits on an 18 plate. The gps mapping overlay and muzzle velocity correction are unbeatable. I can get better firing solutions from the muzzle velocity correction function then I can from my chronograph. When I teach guys how to shoot long range I don't even bring my chronograph anymore.

Newest version format is terrible. 1/3 of your screen is killed by floating menus. Important data numbers are super tiny and spaced very far apart. Data entry space viewing window for each gun is ridiculously small. Horrible use of screen real estate. Crashes seem to have been fixed. Please bring back the previous version/format (BallisticARC).

This is by far and away the best shooting app out there. I love the kestrel app, but this one is much more friendly if you don't want to mess with a kestrel unit. I have profiles set up for all my rifles, and all the rifles I sight in for family and friends. They ask me 3mo later what to dial at range, and I can give them a number is seconds. Then I get the "that was dang close first shot" text. Thumbs up.
