I have been using this app for several weeks and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in its functionality. It's nice that it ties into things like my Fitbit. It has never given me my check mark for a "easy run." I don't know how far back it is pulling data but it has shown me as "off target" towards my goal for weeks which obviously gets discouraging. The one cool thing is that you do have a real assigned coach who you can message and they get back to you pretty quickly.

Bottom line: I wouldn't pay for this app again. This app promises to be more personalized and smarter, but really isn't. Whether or not you hit your weekly goal is only based on whether you were +/- 10% of your mileage goal. If you start missing targets, there's no feature that adapts your next workouts. It's kludgy to get it to interact with your Garmin. The "coaches" seem like they might be AI with stock responses. I guess it's nice to have the workouts and videos with how to do them.

Just an okay app. I like the calendar and the suggestions it provides me for training workouts. Plus, the YouTube video links are kind of neat if you're into that. However, I just want the calendar to actually give me the "check mark" for completing an assigned activity. Perhaps connecting/syncing with my Garmin watch for tracking is what throws off my calendar/log, but even when I edit the activity, like logging my long run as a long run, I don't get the check off....

A great app that generates a schedule based on my goal race and past performance. The app also is adaptive and the schedule is updated based on performance improvements. Responses from coach are prompt and detailed. Reasonable pricing if you wish to the gold hip. Can sync with Garmin connect so my runs are added to schedule automatically. UI and usability can improve further.

i like the fact that the schedule is personalised to the runs that i am doing, however the experience during the run needs improving. 1. need to add a 5 minute warm up - i run at 6am so this is essential for me and all other running apps i have used have this. 2. don't give a range for the distance. should i do 4 miles or 5 miles - just select one. 3. have a clear end of workout voice commentary. without these improvements I'm not sure i can justify renewing.

Love the concept and works 80% of the time. there have been numerous times during my runs the app won't open in the middle of the run and I have to restart my app and luckily the distance will log. But on days like today ,(while definitely getting a new PR) the app stopped all together and lost ALL OF THE DATA. literally logging this on the way back to my house. Definitely demoralizing when you are putting your best effort out with nothing to show for it.

Agree with many others- brill for creating training plan, (currently) unusable for any tracking I.e. following the plan. This mainly becomes a big problem if wanting to follow the speed/interval runs precisely, as short of holding your phone with you in unlocked mode the whole time it won't tell you when the changes are. In short, as others suggest, use RunCoach to make the (very good!) plan then something else to track and do it!

Great app for training plans, integrates seamlessly with strava, Garmin etc. I would note that the native recording in the app is quite inaccurate, although I suspect most would use an alternative and sync. I have also found the paid for coaching slightly questionable - it wasn't proactive at all, so if I had a specific question they were responsive, but they weren't, for example, checking in with how I felt and adjusting the schedule. Appreciate it's all texting, but I expected a bit more.
