Love the device and app so far, minimal complaints from me, need to add a pro "ultra" plan with like double the minutes or make it much cheaper to add extra minutes more in line with the plan pricing. Second, I cannot wait for them to figure out the recording direct while I am on my headset. They day that is added, this device is "fully" functional for everyone trying to use this in the office.

Impressed by how well this works. I have the AI Pin version of the device. It comes with several ways to wear it, like a watch, a pin, and a laynard. I opted to wear it under my shirt using the laynard. I was surprised how well it picked up the conversation. It was a bit scratchy because I wore it under my shirt and any movement produced the scratchy sound. I would say it picked up 97% of the conversation and transcribed it almost perfectly. The AI summary and mind map were excellent.

As an ADHD Millenial going back to school, this is a game changer. I used the plaud device for the first time today, and got it to summarize the lecture. It listed the different named throughout the lecture in an easy to follow vocabulary list with simple definitions, then summarized the different ways those were discussed in a bullet outline format. I feel like I have a study buddy walking me thru everything. This is the best accommodation for my learning disability I've ever had.

Amazing device and tools. They are still a bit clunky to learn and use. File transfers from the Plaud device to the phone via Bluetooth is really poor. and the Hotspot idea is not the best. Have the plaud just use the same wifi the phone is on and transfer the audio file that way. my 3 meeting and I love where this technology is going.

Finally got it to work and it's awesome. Don't have to worry about taking notes on calls or in meetings. Given that it working off of a recording some words that aren't enunciated correctly get swapped for a synonym. But this is relatively minor. Most of my recordings have been in meeting settings. The summaries are good. I don't see much use for the mind maps. They aren't as elaborate as they could be and seem to be an outline rather than discussion topic map like Nvivo would produce.

App is pretty intuitive , would love the feature to continue recording on an existing file prior to transcription. This would help in scenarios where I want to add notes on a certain subject throughout the day and have a single cumulative transcript for the same subject in stead of multiple items to combine at the end of the day. Thanks!

Device is great... Subscription will suck eventually after free year runs out. App won't calm down and stop using resources. Using a Samsung S24 Ultra, the phone suggested putting it into deep sleep manually. Please fix the resource burden. The app always remained in notifications stating that it was playing back audio, even though it wasn't. Will update score if problem is fixed.

The device itself seems just like every review says. Obviously the subscription is a downer, but understandable. My low rating is because the metal mounting disc has completely rendered my phone unable to use my wireless charging feature. It immediately got extremely hot. So I have to choose between wireless charging and not being able to mount the Plaud Note. Real bummer.
